The AMO or airline maintenance desk sends fleet type (B737NG/MAX, DHC-8 Q400, CRJ, A320), licence discipline (M1, M2, E, S, Quality), station, shift pattern, and start date.
Match
Elevon verifies active Transport Canada licence status and endorsements, currency on type and tooling, availability and travel, then presents the candidate so the AMO can lock the assignment.
Prepare
Confirm the licence and ratings still match the job. The AMO names the initial training for that station. Elevon finishes that training before the first shift.
Start
The AME reports with general tooling, already cleared on the AMO's initial training, and works under the host AMO policies and procedures. The AMO keeps the certificate.
Close
Reconcile logged hours against hangar supervisor records. One invoice to the host. Payment to the AME. Record the assignment for the next surge.
Stay
Long-term AMEs can be considered for profit share and ownership. This path is for people who keep taking work after the first assignment. Terms are set with people who qualify, in a direct conversation. AMOs keep paying for labour. AMOs do not buy a stake.

Elevon Technical Operations matches technical personnel. We do not hold an Approved Maintenance Organization certificate and we do not sign off aircraft. The host AMO or airline keeps maintenance release under its own certificate.
How are engineer licences verified?
We check Canadian AME licences against Transport Canada standards: category (M1, M2, E, S), currency, and fleet experience, before assignment.
How do travel, accommodations, and fly-in / fly-out shifts work?
Travel, lodging, and meal expenses (per diem) are set during the labour request. AMEs get confirmed flight and accommodation details before they move.
How quickly can labour be deployed to a Calgary or Western Canada hangar?
Local personnel can often move on short notice for AOG or overrun work. Deployments typically mobilize in 24 to 72 hours, depending on the shift block.
